Anti-Cancer Drug
We just completed another video for award-winning medcomms agency Synergy Vision. The video depicts the mode of action of Clavis Pharma's new anti-leukaemia drug, demonstrating how it achieves improved efficacy compared with existing therapies.

HistoryPlastic Milk were commissioned by Evans Woolfe Media to create the graphics for a three part history series for BBC Learning. The series introduces primary age pupils to what life was like for children during the Second World War. The graphics integrate archive stills with live action of the same locations in the present day.You can see some remarkable examples of this kind of work by the Russian photographer Sergey Larenkov at sergey-larenkov.livejournal.com.
 
Veolia - Pearl GTL

Veolia - Pearl GTLJust finished working with Gatehouse on a two and half minute animated sequence for Veolia. The sequence highlights some of the impressive feats the company achieved in the design and build of a water treatment plant capable of treating 40,000 cubic meters of water every day without wasting any of it. The plant is part of the much larger Shell Pearl GTL project in Qatar.

The project gave us a great chance to try out some excellent new technology.

 
New Interactive Science Project

Just completed user testing on our latest project, a Flash learning portal which includes, games, scientific activities/experiments and lots of facts, all bound up in an intriguing animated interface for children to explore. An interesting and enjoyable project to work on.
 
Fully Animated Mode of Action Video

We have completed a fully animated MOA video for one of the UK's leading multinational pharmaceutical companies. The film depicts the journey of a drug molecule into the body, through the tissues, and into a cell, finishing up inside the cell's nucleus where we see what is happening at DNA level.
 
Seven Wonders of the Microbe World

Just completed a series of seven short films with Evans Woolfe Media for the Open University. The films show what microbes can do to us, and for us, from the Black Death to making beer.
To be delivered via Youtube, with the aim of encouraging and educating young adults with an interest in science.

Numberjacks Mission to Learn
We have recently designed the interface for Numberjacks: Mission to Learn, a soon to be launched online learning resource based on the popular Numberjacks TV shows, which we also animated. The design gives the user their own room inside the Numberjacks' sofa from where they can go on missions, or play games to improve their maths skills.
 
Special FX shots for 'Boffin & Boffin'

Another skirmish into the world of film. We just delivered a couple of special effects shots for the excellent short film "Boffin & Boffin". The film was shot on a Red One camera and looks great. Click here to see the work.
 
Plastic Milk to produce titles and animation for US independent feature film

We have just signed the contract to produce character animation for the live action feature Sweet Little Lies (working title) directed by William J.Saunders. The characters represent the imagination of one of the main characters, Waldo. They are also used in the title sequence, it should be a great project to work on, can’t wait to get started.

Winner - Shooting People Film of the Month Competition

Shooting People's Film of the Month
Ant & Len has won Shooting People's Film of the Month for November 2009. Judge, Christine Vachon (Producer of ‘Far From Heaven’, ‘Velvet Goldmine’ and the Oscar winning ‘Boys Don’t Cry’), said: “Extremely sophisticated visually. The animation is seamless and looks great. A very cute short that manages to effectively tell a story despite being under two minutes in length. My daughter would love this. Well done!!”

Ant & Len go on a world tour with onedotzero

Ant & Len has been selected for the onedotzero adventures in motion international touring festival starting in London, 9-13th September, at the BFI Southbank. The festival then goes on to tour several major cites around the world.
