A WORLD WITHOUT MATHS

BBC BITESIZE

A series of 7 short films, introducing primary school children to multiplication and division through character based comedy. The films transport the viewer to a world without maths, a land where people have forgotten how to do even simple sums. Everything else remains the same, Mum, Dad, Mrs. Barker, Dave the builder - all perfectly normal - except they don’t know any maths. It’s not their fault, they’re not stupid, it’s just...well, no one does.

Fortunately there are a select few in possession of skills most can only dream of. They may only be children, but in their world, they are super heroes. Armed with a cape, an extendable numberline and a push-powered scooter they may not be fast, but give them time, they will come to the rescue.

The series was devised and developed by Plastic Milk for the BBC.
