NATURE NAVIGATOR

Nature Navigator is a web-based software solution aimed at research management professionals in academia. It enables them to explore research topics, identify potential collaborators and gain insights into the research landscape. This helps them to make smarter, better-informed research decisions.

We were asked to create an animation to help raise awareness of Nature Navigator. The animation was to act as a ‘conceptual walkthrough’ of the product, showcasing its capabilities and explaining its benefits. We had previously made a successful video for Nature Research Intelligence and were encouraged to use a similar approach and tone of voice in this video.

We devised a story that introduces a research leader who is struggling to wrangle a torrent of data from a range of competing sources. From despairing at her desk, she is transported into the world of Nature Navigator where she finds that research intelligence is elegantly organised and the information she requires is, quite literally, at her fingertips.
