AdisInsight is a database that provides detailed, evidence-based information on pharmaceutical research and drug development. It is used by academics, regulators and industry professionals to help them stay up-to-date with the latest insights and make smarter strategic decisions. We were brought in to produce a new animation which could be used as a key marketing tool to help raise awareness of the product.
We were invited to host a workshop with a group of product and marketing stakeholders. This was a valuable opportunity for us to learn more about AdisInsight, its users and target market. We were also able to discuss and prioritise all of the key messages that could be included in the video. Following the workshop, we created a proposal which formed a solid foundation for the visual concept and script development.
We wanted to create a video that would resonate with the target audience by reflecting the challenges and frustrations they face. We decided our story would follow a new drug (represented by a single pill) along its complicated development pathway.
The pill faces a perilous journey and soon succumbs to a catastrophic pitfall. However, when all seems lost, we introduce AdisInsight. The pill escapes from its hopeless situation and with the help of AdisInsight's flexible, up-to-date data, races towards its goal.
The video has been very positively received by the client team. It has been shown at conferences, used in a social media campaign and can be viewed on the Springer Nature web site.
