NEUROTRANSMISSION

UCB

These clips from a longer video depict the mechanism of action of a dopamine agonist used in the treatment of Parkinson’s disease. Rotigotine is administered via a transdermal patch. The animation shows drug molecules binding to post-synaptic receptors supplementing reduced naturally available dopamine.
